I am loving Hades 2, but I hope they don’t make Hades 3, or at least, not right away. Supergiant’s entire catalogue has been fantastic, and the diversity of genre and game style has been a great time to play through. It feels almost like a waste for them to make a third Hades when they could make something else as unique as Transistor or Pyre. Seeing the interesting worlds they concoct is a big part of the joy of playing their games.
yeah, I’m liking Hades 2 but its just more Hades. i love Supergiant for the diverse games they make and hope their next entry is every bit as creative in a new genre as their previous games.
I’d love to see their take on a metroidvania or RPG.
My favorite thing about the dev is how diverse their games are. I’d prefer something new rather than them just becoming the “Hades series devs”.
I’m sure there will be huge pressure to continue with what has proven to be a money-making IP. Chasing that success over and over again is exactly how you end up running a creative studio into the ground.
