My tip, cut and freeze some. Theyre fine in the freezer for a long time and if want to proccess them later its not issue, but they are also a nice frozen treat.
That counts!
Thank you!
There’s a lot of fruit orchards that have leftover bounty at the end of the season that would normally go to waste and just be rotting on the ground as windfall losses. Thanks for helping to put it good use.
I say it counts! You should also post to the cooking sub and post what you’re making with them!

Thank you! There were some berry bushes (trees?) also but we probably missed their peak fruiting season as there was none to harvest, happy with the apples we’ve got 💯
Would probably turn them into apple jam or apple crumble (apple crisp in US).
that’s 3 weeks of my apple consumption :)
Damn, 3 weeks? Lol
You definitely won’t regret eating 5 apples a day for a couple weeks.
Apropos to nothing are you familiar with a disempaction?
I would think with all that fiber you’d have the opposite problem…
There becomes a point where the amount of fiber is too much fiber lol
So what’s the plan? Apple butter?
Ooh that sounds good to me honest, I might just try that!
I hope that’s the plan! Man I love the aroma of slow cooked apple butter!
