Or, just maybe, centering your entire transit system around cars is just a bad idea. Quit letting billionaires with car businesses sink your high speed rail projects. Invest in segregated bus/tram/cycling lanes. Fix your shit zoning around parking minimums and shout down the NIMBYs for higher density housing. Whining “just one more lane, bro” and “we just need to do car centric transit better” is hilariously bad when so many densely populated urban areas exist that have solved these problems.
