“He’s basically celebrating political violence” said tabloid writers
Local man Tom Carr has lost his job after he disgustingly said his name when asked by a barista while ordering coffee, instead of doing what he should have done which is refuse to give his name because he is too busy mourning Charlie Kirk.
“He wasn’t even crying when he ordered the coffee,” claimed one self-described ‘freedom of speech activist’ while doxing Carr and his family, “why does he not care about people’s families?”
Something tells me The Onion will soon be outlawed. Or frivolous-lawsuited out of existence.
EDIT: Or not. That’s not The Onion. My bad. Then again, Australia…
Thankfully other sites like The Chaser can carry on the good fight even in that eventuality :P
Hopefully… But American dissent on American soil will soon be a thing of the past. That’s for damn sure.
With the UK already and the EU potentially soon, what country is left to set your VPN to?
Outlawed for what? Reporting the news faster than it’s happening?
I don’t know… Trump will designate The Onion as a dangerous leftist lunatic terrorist group or something.
The Bondi woman is there to make sure the law is co-opted by Trump. So Trump can outlaw anyone he wants for any reason.
Theyre making jokes like this when actually people are getting fired for tweets like “I hope they kill his wife next, so his children can be taken away and taught to hate their parents.”
They removed Jimmy Kimmel from TV for saying this: “We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” he said. His comment was aimed not at Kirk but at the maelstrom of news around Kirk’s death; it speaks ill not of the dead, but of “the MAGA gang.”
Not really though. Kimmel getting removed had nothing to do with Charlie Kirk, they just used that as a convenient excuse. Trump said Kimmel was next in July.

Kimmel deserves to be majorly shit on for implying, very wrongly, that Tyler Robinson was MAGA. Maybe you could even call it… Misinformation? But maybe not fired, and not the amount of pressure the network is getting from the government right now, sure.
That said… I think their decision to fire him might also have had to do with his viewership being way down.
