You can say he implied he was one of MAGA, but it’s poor logic to even go that far. What he’s affirmatively saying is: MAGA was pointing fingers at everyone but themselves.
And that is objectively true. MAGA spent the time since the murder twisting every fact - true or false - publicly released to say one thing: “Not us.”
Kimmel wasn’t fired yet. His show was suspended, probably with the intention to reinstate it after this blows over. But please let’s not contribute to this fascist-led delusion that he did anything other than call the sky blue.
But it’s moot anyway. The cowards at ABC, who thought kneeling and bowing to Trump would be fine since they could stand up as soon as his back was turned, are going to have a sad realization that Trump is building a throne on their backs. And standing back up was never part of the equation.
