They call that drumming ?
For Megadeth though, they should have made that ‘final album’ years ago. Keep touring, but stop throwing shit against the wall and calling it an album.
Disagree. Sure, Peace Sells and Rust is Piece are their best efforts, but The System Has Failed, Thirteen, Dystopia, and the latest album (The Sick…) have all been very true to form. Even the albums in between had several good tracks (and a few terrible fillers) on each of them.
I’d say Megadeth has consistently put out their established brand of thrash metal more than a lot of their contemporaries. But then I feel the opposite about Metallica - there’s a band that should have stopped in the 90s. Everyone is entitled to their musical taste.

They should have
- Stopped after Cliff died
- Hired a fucking editor and an arrangement specialist before Cliff died, so that master of puppets used the right riff, and wasn’t 7 minutes and 8 verses long for fucks sake.
EDIT : Metallica is not fucking sunn O))) , dream theater or Haken. They need to cut down these fucking songs. It’s all chaff, no wheat
- The Lars Volta
- Thirty Seconds to Lars
- The Lars
- Jefferson Larship
The Lars Volta implies he can count.
- Fleetwood Lars
- ChiLarsgo
- George Larsgood
Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards
Wait…dammit.
Any love for The Larshole Surfers?
They’re from my hometown! Just thought I’d Pepper that fact in there
Metallica still make a stack of money every year touring, however they could make even more money if they stuck Lars in a booth and charged fans $50 to punch Lars in the face.
Its been said that if Cliff hadn’t died in the bus accident, Lars would have been fired at the end of that tour, just if you didn’t feel bad enough about Cliff dying already.
Im a big megadeth fan but Dave is a mess and his politics are toxic and insane. I’m glad they’re done. He can’t sing anymore anyways. And I just want him to go away
saw them this summer. The band fucking rocks, when he shuts up. It was an embarrassment.
