A single dose of LSD eased anxiety symptoms for many folks and the benefits lasted up to three months, a new study reports.
By 12 weeks, the effects were still strong: 65% of patients taking the most effective dose (100 milligrams) continued to see improvements, and nearly half were considered to be in remission, according to the study.

On 100mg, nothing will be said anymore. You’d typically loose consciousness, vomit a lot, maybe slip into a coma.
Most people that accidentally took such a large overdose do regain consciousness (sometimes months later, if in a coma) and are more or less fine though - if they get medical attention fast enough, you know, for the coma and all.
This is probably one of the most unpleasant experiences I could think of in relation to psychedelics.

That’s crazy. Thanks, i would never have actually looked that up.
Isn’t that also almost exactly what happens to Pual in the books? He falls into a coma. They think he’s dead and try and bury him but Chani stops them. For months.
I was making a silly joke but I wonder if it’s an actual reference by Frank? Was spice just an analogy of acid?
