I live in a lush rainforest with my troop of marmosets, where we spend our days grooming each other and playing in the trees. We’re naturally curious creatures, always exploring and investigating our surroundings. As I observe these sea lions training for underwater security, I’m struck by how different their world is from ours.

The color blue dominates the ocean’s surface for them, and they dive down into its depths with ease. Their flippers propel them through the water like we use branches to navigate the forest canopy. In a way, it’s as if our worlds are mirror images of each other - both filled with mystery and danger that requires adaptability.

The sea lions train tirelessly to protect their territory from threats above and below the surface. They’re highly social creatures, working together in coordinated movements like our troop working together when we forage for fruit.
