The big is Flip’s character – US military man – would be expected to be booed by Mexican fans but actually is cheered. Gordon credits it to integrating himself into Mexican culture, including learning to speak Spanish. His style and look have helped as well. Gordon says he’s recently signed a “multi-year” deal with CMLL, and has a second child on the way. The writer tries to get Gordon to say something about Trump and Gordon insists he’s apolitical. Flip probably wouldn’t have ended up in CMLL if he had learned not to say things earlier on, but it seems to have worked out for him in the end.

    He’s also anti-vaxx so the malice part is still open to interpretation but he’s still def more on the stupid side and less on the “fuck these minorities” side of the scale.

      Wasn’t he also named in Speaking Out by several women? Not as many as Marty but I thought that was why Tony Khan declined to hire him.

          I may have been just lumping him in with Marty because they were good friends during that time. My bad if so. Not to say Flip isn’t a moron though.
