Some nice sun and rain. Is there much happening in your garden?

I stuck a large branch I’d pruned in some cutting powder then popped it in a two foot deep augured hole in the corner of the yard. I’m hoping there’s enough vitae in the branch for it to take root. If so I get a free ten foot gum that blocks the view of the neighbours house.

I’m getting a lot of nasturtium flowers and some California poppies blooming in the pots. It’s a riot of yellow and orange but there isn’t a lot that’s necessary for me to do.

You managed to grow nasturtium? Probably in house. All my attempts ends same way, it got eaten by possum. It seems to be too tasty.

I planted absolutely heaps of it, and most of the pots were close to the door where the cat sits. Maybe possums and mice can smell her.

The first ones in a different area did get completely eaten and so did the one furthest away from the door.

It seems my cat is sleeping on duty :-) ( he is 17 y.o. so it is excusable ) or I have brave and very hungry possums around.
