I’m not sure why anyone would even consider those dogs for something like that. I mean, they’re just too emotional to be used as some kind of tool or whatever. They need their feelings and space all the time, which is exactly what’s required in this line of work - attention and care, not just sitting around day after day watching grass grow.
Their emotional nature actually makes them quite low capacity for long patrols. We need highly motivated individuals with discipline to handle such tasks properly.
