Once I was doubting the need for higher levels of mathematics. Now as an engineer I realize the utility of this knowledge.
What made my change my mind? Well it’s definitely not my intelligence nor my age, it’s the practical application of that theory which got me here. Reading in between the lines can only happen if you like what you’re doing.

Corpos, are trying their hardest to cut corners on every opportunity. It was promised that digital games where to be cheaper than the physical alternative - but alas that promise was broken when all that did was tie the customer down into a literal monopoly.
In my experience, some indie games still have that “charm”. So it’s not about convenience, it’s caring about your customers.
And there it is, an oppressive weapon camouflaged as a nicely packaged present. What I seem to realise is our “dependancy” on the governments perspective - it’s like they already speak the ultimate truth, testing the limits of what is democracy.
Is it really right to be weaponising children and minors into essentially constructing a totalitarian regime? Because, in my perspective they are using our young people as human shields to justify their hideous acts against humanity.
It is best not to forget who’s the actual enemy. Because, in the future no one will be safe - no matter the age.
Exactly, protection only applies to the elites. Children had nothing to do with this law, and yet they are being used as a weapon of mass deceiving.
If the government had some dignity, they wouldn’t use age as a weapon against the society - but alas, a oppressive government has to start from somewhere.

Such limit to this law is the best case scenario. And definitely something I’ll support, but the chance it might extend further is what holds me and others away from this.

This is quite a succinct response to the status quo. People will be placed under the mercy of the government, and as history has taught us, the government will not resist the urge to torment its people.
That doesn’t sound like it would fly even in the most religious communities.

That is one thing that I don’t get. There is so much quotes and ideas that are just manipulated out of spite to target the working class. It’s like the “elites” are really on the sidelines while we’re fighting our own people.
Even “carbon footprint” is a quote fabricated to put the wrong doings of the petroleum industry on us.
Agreed, highways are not even remotely the big problem here. Focus should be given to residential roads where the highest risk persists.

Ageism, it is always implied that adults are the ones right - because what adult would accept a child to disprove their logic?

Age is already being weaponised against us (child protection, etc), this shouldn’t be like that - We can already see what kind of power governments hold. Ageism is what will ultimately destroy us.
This practice is by nature anti-competitive. All they’re creating is a monopoly covered up by a promise of a walled garden.
As such, this shouldn’t even be legal under todays jurisdictions.
