shrewdcat@lemmy.zipto United States | News & Politics@lemmy.ml•Investors snap up growing share of US homes as traditional buyers struggle to afford one4·3 months agoThe home market is ripe for investor buying. The inventory is increasing because you have all the 2020/Covid over-paid homes now being dumped on the market (happening in Las Vegas, Arizona, and across the country) but the interest rates are too high for individuals to buy. Trump’s economy will not see interest rates go down. The investor buyers have their shopping carts and are ready.

shrewdcat@lemmy.zipto KDE@lemmy.kde.social•Is there no native way to get rounded corners on Plasma?6·3 months agoExactly. The downside of doing it this way, I don’t believe any gnome/gtk apps will utilize the kde rounded corners from window decorations.
shrewdcat@lemmy.zipto KDE@lemmy.kde.social•Is there no native way to get rounded corners on Plasma?14·3 months agoYou can use plasma styles and window decorations that have built in rounded corners out of the box instead. You can usually find them in the macos-like themes and Deepin, I think. Also, I think Klassy has editing options in it’s window decorations to engage rounded corners if memory serves me.

No gui’s to my knowledge, but there are package managers that can install them, such as Bauh.
Just a conversation opener, relax. Only one here shaking a fist in the air is you.
I get the convenience, I really do, and works on every linux distro which is a plus, but I usually stay clear of them because of the bloat. Maybe that is a misconception on my part. I should preference that with the fact I use Arch (btw)…so AUR usually has everything I need.
No, I think it is strictly a KDE app. BTW, if anyone is using Arch Linux, it is now in AUR.
