Ok let me see if I got it.
The snake ruined Gods original plan, and kind of ruined the people in his creation. Now, to live most like God would have wanted, one must be selfless (possibly among other things).

Had they passed a fish out of water.
This wouldn’t have been a thing in Eden to begin with, presumably. I don’t equate Eden to a literal place and all of these things literally happened, so it’s irrelevant to begin with.
So you don’t think Eden really was a place? Great! Neither do I. (I think we are discussing the story not from a historical perspective, but maybe one of psychology and philosophy.)
My statement about a fish out of water is hypothetical. It didn’t have to happen to illustrate a point. Further, we are in agreement that Eden was not a historical event, but a story. It didn’t happen either.
op, 5th paragraph:
God wants us to replace our fear, worry, and need for ourselves (selfishness) with fear, worry, and need for everything else (selflessness);
to reunite ourselves with it and gain this true life;
of a life striving for others as opposed to ourselves;
that we can’t help but being inherently drawn to.
I understood “reunite” to mean regaining something we no longer have. I was paraphrasing, and apparently not very well.
The rhetoric stands, however. It doesn’t matter if selflessness was something we lost, or if it is in God’s plan. If God wants us to be selfless, why did he first create us to be ignorant of selflessness?
When Adam an Eve were in the garden, they had limited knowledge, and they couldn’t see consequences for themselves if they ate the fruit. So they couldn’t really see consequences for others. Thus, they couldn’t really be selfless.
Had they passed by a fish out of water, they would not have known it would die if left there.
You point out we need to regain what we lost through God. We need to regain our selflessness.
How do we get back our pre-fall selflessness if Adam and Eve didn’t have it?
Don’t, it’s good to share. Thx
Can you define LEO? Can’t find it on googol :/
Authpass. Store offline or in their cloud. Works on multiple types of devices. Has autofill
Pretty much. But if you need to test it, you can buy another drive and install linux and your games there. If it doesn’t work, you can use the extra drive for something else.
In Steam on Linux, use settings to enable Experimental or Proton for Windows games.
Edit: This is computer science, you must report your findings!
Here are some tips once you have chosen:
You can change your desktop environment later.
If you do your install with seperate partitions for /home and others, leave 10% unallocated. Also make /bin about 15gb and /boot about 1.5gb. When you eventually run out of space, you can use KDE Partition manager to add the unallocated space to the partition you need, even if you set up encryption (gparted doesn’t play well with encryption). You can install Partition manager as a package, you don’t need to use KDE Plasma.
Using a drive mirror is a good idea. Maybe use it the second time you install.
If you want to use a cool filesys like zfs, just use btrfs for now (licensing issues). Ext4 will also work for desktop user needs.
If you go with Debian, you can add repos to your /etc/apt/sources.list file. But it is a one-way trip, so before adding sid, consider running your program in a vm. Non-free non-free-firmware and contrib are fine
The sneakers and jeans are evidence these “officers” were conscripted from the street or volunteered. Professional cops and unarmed security guards wear boots.
In Steven Pinkers book, The Better Angels of Our Nature, he describes conscripted soldiers and police as more prone to unnecessary violence and unlawful use of force.
In the video we can see one detainee forced to watch another get tased.
There is a clear lack of skill in handling the detainees. It is better to lift and lead someone by the armpits than by the arm: it avoids dislocating the arm. When done from behind, they can’t hit you.
Only sometimes. I can’t seem to replicate it today
Blorp is great. I have learned to use it.
The only thing is if I use my phone’s back button, it doesn’t respond. Android gets confused and thinks Blorp isn’t responding. So I use the Blorp back button at the top left of the screen.
Thanks for runing the instances human. Viewing via Blorp app.
That last paragraph made me want to cry.
Here’s two places I have considered:
Argentina
Pros: fairly easy to get residence, liberal for south america, free college, free public hospital, easy to start business with no license.
Cons: Hard to make ends meet without skills. Apartments can restrict to women only
Spain:
Pros: Very accepting of LGBTQ+ from what I’ve heard. Eurozone. Some small towns have rent incentives for new people (check with locality).
Cons: Some declining population.
Kind of? The new locomotives are the Siemens Alc 42, but they are built in California.
Edit: To your point, Seimens makes a way better locomotive, and profits go overseas.
