For those of you still on the journey, know that you can quit individual google services. For example you can quit Gmail, but keep Youtube etc. This would also allow you to keep play store.

Not sure how honest & reliable this is. It’s bad enough that they decided for this.
In the privacy policy they state how and why they collect data. They also say how to potentially stop giving them this data

I agree this is an issue. They move away from a privacy oriented community. Additionally, the reason they give is vague and easily dismantled. What I’m interested in is why this would be a good enough reason to switch providers. They haven’t changed anything crucial in their mail offering, so why should I switch?

Would not updating Revolut keep the app compatible as long as you don’t sign out?
If so, don’t update the app and write down the build number of the last app version which worked on GrapheneOS. That way you would have a bit more time to sort things out.
Yeah, I’ll use my own device, log on to the guest network and start Wireguard on my laptop. Seems a fair choice both for the company and myself.
